Feel free to enter all 3 categories. But remember: each entry requires an individual submission, application and entry fee. If your film is selected we will request additional information at that time. Great characters are your throughline, your safety net. Material should be submitted in standard screenplay format, font, spacing and margin. All genders are encouraged and welcome to submit. The Festival has no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to the materials you submit. Your script must have a female-identifying protagonist. Should the film be accepted for screening during the Festival, the filmmaker may have the opportunity to supply the festival with their most recent version, given extreme extenuating circumstances such as a corrupted file. Hard copies of scripts will not be accepted. Rule 3. We need to know the essence of the drama, this is what makes film festival audiences sit forward.

3 minute short film script
Always aim for the audience to… Pay attention from the very beginning. Dick Short film story structure is a difficult point in terms of education. In general and in my opinion , all comedy stems from irony; that is, the opposite of what is expected happens, and this discrepancy makes us laugh. The conversation got me thinking more deeply about why I felt that way. The thrill of making comedy for me is sitting in an audience and hearing the laughs I worked so hard to capture and protect from the initial idea to the final mix. All submissions must fall under the comedy genre. Where are we? Does the protagonist get away? Turn that question onto themselves. No identifying information should be on the title page.
